My Name is Bob Jacobs. My most important half is Kim and is with me in the photo. I was a Practice Manager for an inner city medical Practice in Leicester (Leicestershire, United Kingdom), prior to my retirement in July 2003. I had been doing that for almost ten years, before which I was Computer Manager for Fisons plc (Scientific Equipment Division [now Fisher Scientific]) in Loughborough (Leicestershire. United Kingdom). I am 73 years of age and have been involved with Computers for the last 40 years.

I live part of my time in Leicester and the remainder in a very pleasant valley near Sax in Spain, where I write books and my own web sites and get my internet connectivity via a microwave link. I have been collecting Matchbox Labels since 1951.

I am always interested to hear from other collectors, or people curious about the hobby. I reply to all emails I receive. I do not value collections, because (A): Few have any real value. and (B): this cannot be done by email, usually requiring close examination.
